The Cover-Up

Forensic accountant Clarke Pettis gets hired to investigate financial irregularities at a pharmaceutical company. But a routine job quickly turns into something far more threatening when Clarke discovers a body in the company’s research laboratory. The company’s employees all have their own secrets, but which of them has been driven to murder? And who would murder a genuine Mr Nice Guy? No one appears to have a motive.
As the financial investigation progresses, Clarke searches for a connection to the murder. Someone is trying to bring the company down. But, amid escalating intimidation and threats of violence from animal rights protestors, she struggles to find the truth.
When Clarke finally uncovers the murderer’s identity, she realises how dangerous they really are. Time is running out. Can she save herself and her colleagues before someone else dies?
